Charlotte Besson-Oberlin's experience and taste for sober, pure design were honed at the Christian Liaigre design office, Paris, where she spent 11 years working all over the world, first as an interior designer, then as head of furniture design. From these years, she retains a rigorous approach to execution, a taste for noble materials, a concern for perfect finishes and a constant search for the best design for each customer.
Charlotte Besson-Oberlin created dix9mai to add her own personality to this precious baggage, and to offer a design with clean lines in which unexpected touches are blended to never freeze the decor.
She accompanies her customers, both professional and private, in their quest for beauty and elegance. She passionately and cheerfully designs the interior architecture, as well as the made-to-measure furniture and accessories that will complete their projects and make them unique.
She designs not only interior architecture for professionals and private clients, but also bespoke furniture and accessories to complement their projects and make them unique.
From a private villa in St Barthélémy to the Cabanes Nutchel in Belgium and France, or the Restaurant Mûn in Paris (in collaboration with Eve von Romberg), these very different projects have in common inspired and inspiring clients whose real or fantasized vision is the starting point for creative thinking that makes them remarkable projects.
Charlotte Besson-Oberlin graduates from ESAG-Penninghen.
